- Opinions are like trees. Truth is the forest.
- Opinions are not equal to truth.
- Opinions will keep you from seeing the truth.
Be careful to not simply change your mind. Be sure to find truth!
Let me give you this caution, whether you grew up in church or you got here as quick as you could: Be careful to differentiate between opinion and scripture!
The Forest and the Trees analogy is about Getting Lost in Minutia
We can get lost in the pursuit, asking the wrong questions, focusing on minutia instead of the whole picture, etc
If God is God, He can do whatever He wants. And God wants you to live in His power!
The Purpose of the Gifts
Jesus wanted to tell them “What’s Next” but they couldn’t stay focused!
