What is a motivational gift?

The motivational gift of prophecy is the ability, the personality, the desire to communicate and enforce revealed truth.
Romans 12:6
When I think of someone who is motivated by the gift of prophecy, a keyword is TRUTH.
Having the motivational gift of prophecy creates a strong desire for the truth of God to be understood by others.
I Thessalonians 1:5
A person so gifted will be determined to find ways to declare, boldly at times, the truth of God, regardless of the consequences.
Acts 26:24-29
The goal of this gift is to call people to righteous living.
I Corinthians 14:1-4
We are drowning in information, under a flood of facts.
But there is a famine of truth!
Weaknesses? Sure!
They can be a little bit arrogant, sometimes thinking they may be the only one left speaking the truth.
While denouncing sin they may forget to add grace, that many who were guilty are also already forgiven.
Strengths
They will not tell you what you want to hear. They do not change their message to make it more palatable.
They detest lies and falsehoods and manipulations of the truth.
When being distinctly used by God they have amazing timing.
