Not only do life’s problems expose our present condition, they also accelerate the direction we are choosing for our lives.
“COVID accelerated the paths of attenders, members and engagers.”

THE POWER OF PROMISE
You will never own anything in this world as powerful as a promise from God!
Matthew 24:35, 2 Corinthians 1:20
Corporate Promises
Noah (Genesis 6:17-21)
Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3)/Isaac (Genesis 26:2-5)/Jacob(Israel) (Genesis 28:12-15)/Joseph (Genesis 48:3-4, 49:22-26, 41:57, 50:20, Exodus 1:6)
Sarah (Genesis 18:1-15, 21:1-7)
Caleb (Joshua 14:6-15)
Elisha (2 Kings 2:1-14)
THE POSSIBILITY OF PROMISE
You are supposed to hear God’s voice, to know His will, and at times, to receive promises!
Expect – Start believing God wants to speak to you!
I’ve already given you two steps last week:
Expect prayer to be dialogue, not just monologue
Expect to hear God when you read the Bible, that something will click
Make Time – Be still, give time for God to speak
Modern lifestyles are not conducive to hearing God, so we must MAKE time!
Learn His Voice – John 10:27
The best way to learn what His voice sound like is… read His Word!
Confirmation – 2 Corinthians 13:1
God is not schizophrenic. He will not tell you something that contradicts His Word!
Chase Jesus – Don’t focus on promises or problems, yourself or other people.
If you are in charge, doing things your way, you’re living without promise.
And one of the worst places to be is living without promise!
