Facts, not Drama
Don’t assume – look for the truth
Don’t believe innuendo – there will always be critics of truth
Don’t listen to rumor or gossip, which are words spoken by people who have fallen victim to assumption or believed innuendo
Whether I am the offender or the offended I must go talk it out! Either way, Jesus wants me to be firstborn and lead in humility to settle the matter.
And don’t talk to anyone else about it either until AFTER I’ve talked to the person who offended me. See verse 16.
Why does all this matter?
Salt and light both have to make contact in order to have impact.
